It’s been a long time coming but we finally managed to get a podium in one of the biggest events on the Australian racing calendar – World Time Attack Challenge.
The preparations for the World Time Attack Challenge are now in full swing at Tunehouse with all cars in their final stages of completion.
Adding to its ever-growing list of trophies, the Tunehouse THR-86 scooped up another award, this time it was for the Fastest RWD at the Nulon Nationals.
Squaring off against one of the most powerful, exotic field of cars ever assembled at the Motor Hot Tuner Challenge, Tunehouse was definitely an underdog.
But as it’s usually the case, it’s the underdog that bites the hardest. The August issue of Motor Magazine featured a full rundown on the proceedings and included some interesting quotes from the test drivers.
It doesn’t get much more British than Aston Martin, it is after all James Bond’s car of choice in most of his on-screen adventures. This one gets the full Tunehouse treatment.
We all tend to take the brakes for granted, we press the pedal and the car stops. For most people that’s all there is to it but, just like any other part on your car, brakes wear out and need servicing.
After a string of impressive results in previous Motor Hot Tuner Challenge events, Tunehouse will return once again in 2014.
We were excited to get our hands on one of these pocket rockets and were quite impressed with its power delivery, handling and overall presence. That is not to say the car can’t do with a few mods!
