After a string of impressive results in previous Motor Hot Tuner Challenge events, Tunehouse will return once again in 2014.
We have prepared two cars for the event. The first is a collaboration with Heasman Steering – a Gen-F HSV Clubsport R8, and the second is the one and only THR86!
The new Gen-F Clubsport R8 is a potent powerhouse from factory, but still lacking in some major areas. The Tunehouse / Heasman package for this car addresses the handling of the car through a full coil-over and sway bar package. The package also adds more power with the Tunehouse Stage 2 engine kit which features a cam upgrade, a full exhaust and an over-the-radiator intake.
The second entry for the 2014 Hot Tuner Challenge is a Nissan 370Z. After looking over the car extensively Jim has identified the shortcomings in the car, and has designed a custom package to improve all aspects of the driving experience. A host of upgrades have been fitted under the hood including a custom Tunehouse/Stillen supercharger kit and a HKS Super Sound Master Exhaust. The suspension and handling has not been neglected with a full Billstein coil-over set with Stillen Swaybars and Nismo body bracing.
“We are very confident in our cars, and can’t wait to see the results” says Tunehouse founder and head tuner Jim Ghelis.
