The car belongs to one of Tunehouse’s long-term customers – John Papoutsis who will be sharing the driving duties with the Tunehouse team driver – John ‘Boz’ Boston.
With 750hp on tap and a fully worked RB26DETT 2.6-litre engine, this is one very serious R32. And it needs to be, after all it will be competing against Australia’s best Open Class time attack teams at this year’s World Time Attack Challenge!
Tunehouse owner and chief tuner Jim Ghelis is handing all the tuning, mechanical and race setup himself. Both Jim and John feel the car can beat the previous owner’s personal best of 1:35 lap time around the Sydney Motorsport Park.
“This year’s event is shaping up to be very exciting,” said Jim, “The Tunehouse team will be out in force with three cars prepared and tuned in-house.”
