2015 was a particularly exciting and successful year at Tunehouse.
We continued to push the boundaries with our Toyota 86 program, culminating in the release of our own Tunehouse turbo system. Designed and engineered entirely in house, we’ve enjoyed outstanding results with our Tunehouse Toyota 86 turbo package. It’s proven popular with customers both here in Australia and abroad, with a number of kits already shipped into overseas markets.
We expanded our tuning capabilities to cater for the Nissan 370 range and conducted a great deal of research and development around supercharger packages for these cars, with an E-flex kit currently in the works. We have also made exciting inroads with turbo-diesel 4WD tuning, with our customers experiencing significant gains in terms of power, torque and fuel economy with little more than a custom dyno tune.
Tunehouse Racing again enjoyed great success during World Time Attack Challenge, with our own Toyota 86 being the quickest 86 in the Clubsprint class. The Tunehouse-prepared Subaru WRX of Brian Lord finished second in the Clubsprint class, with his son David at the wheel.
We participated in MOTOR magazine’s Hot Tuner Challenge with a customer’s Toyota 86, claiming the runner up “Bang For Your Buck” award with a series of well thought-out, entry-level modifications that provided the customer with outstanding value for money.
We also found the time during 2015 to commence renovating our office, sales area and customer welcoming area, with plenty of further renovations and expansions planned for the future.
